Summerleas Wines is a small boutique wine producer dedicated to high quality.

Tasmania is a genuinely cool-climate wine region and its wines benefit from both a long ripening season and elevated natural acidity, giving intensity and longevity.

Located below Mt Wellington, Summerleas enjoys an especially cool mesoclimate. The black cracking clay soil over dolerite is highly regarded for viticulture, especially for chardonnay and pinot noir.

The advent of the screwcap has delivered a major breakthrough in the ability to give certainty in the extended bottle aging of white wines in particular. The age-worthiness of these wines is a revelation. Extended cellaring prior to release has allowed the wines to develop, fulfill their early promise and to fully integrate.

Summerleas wines provides mature drinking pleasure to be savoured and devoured.
